Tommy Doubleday

My name is Tommy Doubleday and I’m a 24-year old professional triathlete from Park Ridge, Illinois. I swam competitively for 10 years before making the switch to triathlon in 2020. That year I joined the Virginia Tech Triathlon Club, who I raced for while in college from 2020-2024. In 2024, I joined the Girona Racing Academy and with the help of my coach there, I was able to earn my elite license and start racing professionally in 2025.

In addition to training and racing, I work part time as a category manager and product designer for a sportswear company based in Illinois. I am also a volunteer swim coach for my former high school.

As a professional, I have earned four top 20 finishes, including a top 10. As an amateur, I was the 2024 USA Triathlon Long Course National Champion, earned two podium finishes at the World Triathlon Championships, won the Chicago Triathlon, and earned a number of other wins and podiums to earn my professional license.

I'm continuing to push myself each day to be the best triathlete and person I can be.
